Patrick Dempsy

This morning Patrick Dempsy was on GMA. All of these women were screaming at him and giving him kisses when he walked out. Don't they realize that he is the guy from "Can't Buy Me Love", the classic 80s flick? I put him in the same category as Matthew Broderick. Sure, Matthew did some great work after Ferris Bueller, but in my heart, he will always be Ferris. It is difficult for me to take him seriously in other movies because of that one role. Same holds true of Patrick Dempsy. Although I don't remember his characters name, he will always be that kid that buys the slutty, unattractive, white outfit for the popular girl in exchange for a week of "dating"....gotta love the 80s.
