Getting somewhere...

Today, Louise (the boss lady) came into my office to tell me that she had promoted me! I'm really excited. She promoted me internally yesterday I believe (which in a stinky state job doesn't change your title externally, but changes your pay scale which should help my merit raise...if I get one this year). She says she's working on promoting me externally, which would be a title change. I have been waiting for some sign that she really did see the time and effort I have put into my job and how hard I have been working, and this is it (although my strong performance review made me feel great too)!

I am getting ready to go away with Brooke and Farmer this weekend to Katie's baby shower. Tonight we are headed to CT and tomorrow night we will be staying in MA. It will be nice to just have time to get away :)
