Where did April go?

I haven't posted in a looooonnnng while. Things have been super busy. I have been travelling for work and when I haven't been travelling, I have been working nights and weekend. Life has been absolutely crazy since Easter. I didn't realize I hadn't posted until I spoke with Katie the other day and she was wondering where my posts had gone.

Easter in NY was great! The girls love visiting Travis and Nicole, as do I. We had beautiful weather and really got to enjoy the central park. We visited the zoo and explored the park. We even ate some ice cream. We stopped at FAO and the American Girl store and had a delicious Easter dinner, even if it was a bit different than what we usually do. The girls had a blast dying eggs and then hunting for them in Travis' apartment.

After driving the fam home from NYC, I turned around the next day (not great timing on my part) and headed up to CT. I spoke with lots of students, but more importantly, I got to visit Tommy and Inda...oh how I miss Inda! I also got the plague. I had a sore throat and a fever, never fun when you're far from home. On my way back to Balti, I stopped in Philly for two nights for Ciruccis bridal shower (sheesh...talk about a busy busy week). After being home a few days, I headed to MoCo for two nights for another fair (and some good times with Brian M) before heading home to work on Saturday. This week has been the first relatively "slow" week I've had in a while. I did take my bridesmaids dress in for a hem yesterday. I dropped it off just in time as the soonest I can have it back is the the day before the rehearsal dinner...eek!

So that's my life. Oh and I forgot to add that in there somewhere, we bought and assembled a new dining room table, I hung with Wen in Balti and saw the dragon movie with the girlies. Talk about getting a hundred things done. Lucky for me, I have Carl the super dad!
