Hello Fall!
Wow, time flies. I can't believe that it is almost November. Where did the fall go. I am aware that every year I complain that I blink and the fall is over, but this year it seems a bit more true than in the past. I haven't even been travelling as much for work. I remember reading my syllabus the first week in September and thinking, "oh goodness, I have a huge paper due on Oct. 25th...I have plenty of time to work on it". Now, Oct. 25th has come and gone and my class seems to be winding down. Before I know it, it will be thanksgiving.
We have done a few great fall activities so far. We went with Brooke, Ryan and Turner to Weber farm to check out the pumpkins, animals, and hayride. We also went to Gettysburg to visit Auntie Cirucci and Uncle Brian and had some great La Bella's subs. Now, the weather is turning colder and the ground is freezing up, and I haven't gotten to rip out those bushes that were on my "to do" list.
With fall speeding by, I realize that I have not gotten to spend very much time with Carl. His long hours and our needing to use his early nights as nights to watch the girls when I'm doing fairs really takes a toll on me. I can't wait until tonight because we have some time set aside to enjoy each others company, sip wine, snuggle and just catch up. I am also looking forward to celebrating Delaney and Alison's first halloween on Tuesday. We have matching outfits that I've been saving for us to wear. Hopefully everything goes according to plan.
